Step 5:
REPLACE THE PAGE GRAPHICS: | Click for more details
Replace the "about.jpg", "clients.jpg", "services.jpg" etc.. with your own pictures. Open the "icon-popup.gif" and replace this with a small graphic of your own. This icon is for the gallery pop-ups. All page pictures can be found in the "picts" directory. Replace the 8 "home-pict?.jpg" icons in the "picts" directory with your own pictures also. These are the 8 pictures on the homepage.

Step 6:
REPLACE THE GALLERY GRAPHICS: | Click for more details | Thumbnail Help
Because this template includes a slideshow, the best way to setup the pictures in the gallery and the slide show at the same time is not to actually edit the HTML pages and change the pictures on each individual page. The fastest way is to simply replace the pictures in the "gallery" directory with your own by overwriting the files that are in there now and using the same generic names. Hosting is case sensitive so be sure to use the exact same name.

Replace the 108 "Fgallery" pictures in the "gallery" directory with full size photos. Replace the 108 "gallery" pictures with your thumbnails. The thumbnails are now 130 x 87 pixels but you can make them any size that you prefer. The gallery pages will show your thumbnails at whatever size you make them.

POP UP WINDOW OPTIONS: | Click for more details
This template includes 21 options for the pop-up windows. To change these options, open your "pop-closeup.js" in Notepad and put a "yes" or "no" (all lowercase) for the options you want to change. You can also change the height and width variables as well as turn on and off the scrollbars. See the notes in the "pop-closeup.js" for details

Step 7:
This option can be turned off and on. See the above step for details. Click here for complete editing details Each picture has some text used in the javascript that will display in the pop-up. This is done this way so you don't have to have a page for each individual picture. You will only have to edit each gallery?.htm page. You can also turn this option off. See the pop up window options above.

Step 8:
EDIT PAGES: | Software choices | Notepad Editing
Change the text on all pages to match your information. You can use a text editor like Notepad, Frontpage, Dreamweaver or any wysiwyg editor. Take care not to delete any of the HTML tags that surround the text. You will find notes inside each page to help you navigate. NOTE: You will not see the footer and header in some software because they are .js include files so you can globally edit your e-mail and other info.

Step 9:
Open each of the pages and change the page titles (at the very top of the page) and also the description and the keywords to match your product or service. You can edit one page and copy and paste to the other pages. Be careful to only change what's inside the " " so you don't disturb the html code. Keywords are very important so your site will get a good listing at google or msn and other search engines.

Step 10:
UPLOAD: | Click for more details
Upload the pages on to your hosting company's server using ftp software like CuteFTP or Coffee Cup (free) or your control panel. Be sure to make a directory called picts on your server and put the pictures into that directory.

The Amazon search box on the links page is currently set to pay Allwebco for all purchases from your site. To edit this for your own account, go to Amazon and join the associates program. Once you join you can get your affiliate link info and replace this code inside the links.htm "allwebcodesig-20" with your own account info.

In the picts directory you will find a graphic called "logo.jpg". Edit this graphics with your logo. You can make the graphic higher if you need to, it's best not to make it any wider than 600 pixels. To have the homepage also have a graphic logo, rename the "Graphic-LOGO-sample.htm" to "index.html".

The slideshow is currently setup to display all pictures in the gallery folder. If you would like to add or remove pictures from the slideshow, open the slideshow.htm in Notepad and look for the "EDIT THIS AREA" note. Copy and paste to add new pictures to the list, or delete lines to remove pictures. You can also set the AutoPlay speed. Look for "var rotate_delay = 3000".

If you change the notes near the top of the gallery pages, the pictures may no longer line up from one page to the next. To line up the galleries, open the "line_up_pictures.js" in Notepad and change the height="100" to shorten or lengthen all the pages at once.

SIZING THE SLIDESHOW: | Click for more details
You can change the size of the slideshow popup by editing the pop-closeup.js in Notepad. See the notes in the "pop-closeup.js".

THE POP-UP MUSIC: | Click for more details
The music popup is controlled by code in the "pop-closeup.js". You can control the window sizes there. You can also use the popup for other items rather than just music, or you can replace the "music-1.mid" through "music-4.mid" with your own music. You can use mp3, wav, au or mid files. All files for the music popup are in the "music" folder.

You can use different music on the homepage, replace the "home-sound.mp3" in the "music" folder with your own mp3 file. To stop the music from automatically playing on the homepage, delete the code between these notes "FLASH HOMEPAGE PLAYER" on the index.html. This player can only play mp3 files.
